With the increase of the scale, the density of pigs has increased, and the respiratory tract disease of pigs has become an important disease affecting the healthy development of the industry. The pig industry has caused great losses, so the respiratory disease has become an important problem that plagues pig production. The causes of respiratory diseases are different, and their clinical symptoms are also different. Therefore, it is very important to do a good job in identifying the disease in a timely manner. Several common respiratory diseases encountered in production practice are described below.
First, pig gasping disease
Also called endemic pneumonia. It is a kind of world, and it exists in most pig farms in China. The disease is a highly contagious chronic infectious disease caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae, which is limited to pigs and is susceptible to infection at different ages, genders and varieties. The disease can occur all year round, but it is more common in cold, rainy, humid, or sudden changes in climate.
Cough, qi stagnation, drink in the morning and evening, and increase when you drive away. Acute dyspnea, obvious abdominal breathing, dog sitting in asthma, like pulling the bell box, normal body temperature. Chronic cough is obvious, and asthma increases as the condition worsens.
2. Pathological examination changes
Common eye lesions are gray and red translucent in the apical and heart lobes of the lungs, and in the lower anterior border of the temporal lobe. There is a clear dividing line between the normal lung tissue and the bronchial lymph nodes. The cut surface is grayish white.
The disease can be prevented and treated with antibiotics such as oxytetracycline, kanamycin, lincomycin, enrofloxacin, tylosin and tiamulin. In recent years, China has developed attenuated vaccine for swine gasping disease, and intrapulmonary inoculation can effectively prevent the occurrence of swine gasping disease.
